Scott Aukerman got his start as a writer and performer on the HBO cult classic sketch series Mr. Show with Bob and David. Since 2009, he has hosted the podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!, which has been downloaded over fifty million times and was turned into a television show on the IFC network. He is the co-creator and director of the acclaimed and Emmy-winning Funny or Die web series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. His other credits include co-writer and co-director of Michael Bolton's Big Sexy Valentine's Day Special, and consulting producer on the series Sick Note-- both streaming on Netflix.

Lauren Lapkus is a SAG Award winning, Emmy nominated actress, improviser, and writer.

Originally from Evanston, Illinois, she graduated from DePaul University and performed all over Chicago, most notably at iO Chicago.

After a whirlwind year in NYC she moved to Los Angeles, where she can be seen performing improv with ASSSSCAT and Wild Horses at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Wild Horses is Lauren's all-female improv team with Stephanie Allynne, Mary Holland, and Erin Whitehead. They've been seen at Vulture Fest in NYC, All Jane, No Dick in Portland, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, The Chicago Improv Festival, and the Bentzen Ball in DC, performing at the Kennedy Center. You can catch their show, The Perspective, monthly at both UCB Franklin and Dynasty Typwriter in LA.

Lauren is best known for her roles as Vivian in Jurassic World and Susan Fischer on Orange is the New Black. She plays Pete's ex-wife, Jess, on Crashing, and Denise on The Big Bang Theory. Her credits include Lucifer, Life in Pieces, The Guest Book, Drunk History, House of Lies, Kroll Show, Blended, and a bunch more. She was nominated for an Emmy for her work as Samantha Newman on the Funny or Die series, The Earliest Show.

She is one of three leads on the new Dreamworks animated show, Harvey Street Kids, currently on Netflix. She has lent her voice to many other animated shows including Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, American Dad!, Animals, Craig of the Creek and more.

She was featured in Backstage's 10 Comics to Watch in 2012 and performed in the New Faces Character Showcase at the Montreal Just For Laugh's Festival that year. Time Out New York named her one of 10 Comics to Watch in 2015 and she was also on Variety's list of 10 Comics to Watch in 2016. TIME listed With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus as one of the best podcasts of 2018.

Lauren wrote, starred in, and executive produced her own sketch comedy special as part of the Netflix series, "The Characters," now streaming. She is currently recurring on Crashing and The Big Bang Theory, and you can see her in as 1/2 of a desperate, bored couple in The Unicorn, which is currently available on demand.

In 2006, Nwodim graduated from Eastern Technical High School in Essex, Maryland, near Baltimore.Sh e received a biology degree from University of Southern California.[2] Deciding to pursue a career in comedy, she began taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles. Until joining SNL, Nwodim was a regular cast member at UCB, where she also performed her one-woman show Great Black Women...and Then There's Me.

Nwodim was named one of the New Faces at the 2016 Just for Laughs festival. Also that year, she performed at the CBS Diversity Showcase. Supporting roles on television for Nwodim include Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders (a three-episode arc in 2017), 2 Broke Girls, and Living Biblically. Impersonating Maya Angelou, Nwodim roasted various celebrities and companies in a 2017 Funny or Die sketch. Nwodim has made several guest appearances on the podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!

Nwodim's addition to the cast of Saturday Night Live, a long-running NBC sketch-comedy show, as a featured player was announced on September 21, 2018. Nwodim's addition marks the seventh time an African-American female has been hired to the show's cast (joining Yvonne Hudson, Danitra Vance, Ellen Cleghorne, Maya Rudolph, Sasheer Zamata, and current cast member, Leslie Jones).
